Redid an older drawing. Colored with Kyle’s watercolor brushes!
The first time I went to New York a friend took me to this little cart under a super loud bridge and I had the best lamb skewers w/ cumin ever oh my goodness. Since then, every time we’ve gone, we would always seek out that same bridge with that same magical cart.
I’m gonna be hanging around New York this weekend! Gonna mostly be eating, walking around aimlessly and checking out MoCCA Fest! But probably mostly eating.
Saw pics of stone houses and I loved the way they looked. Wanna try implementing them into my comic.
Inspired by these gorgeous backgrounds from Steven Universe and wanted to try and emulate it.
The shirt I ordered from godlierbarnacle's Society6 came in the other day awwwww yissssss
I took a two year course at my community college and got a associate’s in illustration. I kinda knew that I wouldn’t be able to afford going to a university and only really applied to two art schools that weren’t too far from home (Corcoran and MICA). It was better for me financially, but sometimes I wonder if I should’ve gone and taken advantage of the opportunity. I still loved the classes I took and all of my teachers were awesome.
For you, it depends on what you’re looking for. School can be an excellent way to build up your portfolio and network with other artists! But if you can do that without the help of school, then eff it! Make it on your own!
Had a small idea a while back of a game where the main character gets special abilities through magic tattoos. I don’t know if I’ll ever expand on this(actually make the game). Fun idea, though!
